# Responses to specific questions and comments

 1. Our ZIP code is 14853.

 2. Here is the DOI for that reference: https://doi.org/10.7566/JPSJ.82.013601

 3. OP is "order parameter."

 4. u-reps are irreducible representations of the point group that include an
inversion of space. The u, like the g subscripts in our paper, is simply a
label and not an abbreviation as far as we know. It might be replaced by
    "u representations."

 5. LBCO is the chemical compound lanthanum barium copper oxide.

 6. We prefer to retain "falsify" over "disprove" because of its connection
with the philosophy of science of falsifiability, but the meaning of the
sentence is not otherwise affected by the change.

 7. Unfortunately an alternative does not exist right now.

 8. The Pergamon Press operated out of Oxford, UK.

 9. By "check" do you mean the breve on the 'ĭ' at the end of their name? That
accent appears in author listing in the 3rd edition of that text.

 Q. Here is all the information I have, taken from the copy of the article in my possession:

  V. L. Ginzburg, "Some remarks on phase transitions of the second kind and the
microscopic theory of ferroelectric materials," Soviet Physics: Solid State,
Vol. 2, No. 9, pp. 1824--1834 (1961). Translated from Fizika Tverdogo Tela,
  Vol. 2, No. 9, pp. 2031--2043 (September 1960).

# Other corrections

The incorrect "it" on line 409 should have been replaced with "in," so that the
line instead reads "Upon substitution of (A3) and expansion to quadratic order
in <η(x)>, we find"

Everything else appears to be correct.
